How to integrate a widget in Shopify

In the following, we will show you how to integrate a widget in Shopify.

First of all, visit our website https://app.reviewforest.org/ and log in.

Click in the menu on the left on “Widgets” and then on “Review Widget” or “Forest Widget”. Select a widget and click “Install”.

Choose between “Floating widget” and “Badge widget” as well as the position (top left, bottom right …) and copy the HTML code to the clipboard (attention: there are two HTML codes for the “forest widget”) .

Go to Shopify admin panel and log in to the backend. Then click on “Online Store”, then on “Actions” on the right and select “Edit code” in the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Themes” on the left and under “Layout” on “theme.liquid”.
- In the window on the right, into the bottom before the
</body>tag, you can now copy the ReviewForest HTML code you copied at the beginning.
- Click on “Save”.
